The training modules of the centre for PLASTIC ARTS are conceived to facilitate the acquisition of a fundamental knowledge and experience in the domains of colours, of forms and of volumes, indispensable to the creative artistic process. The objectives are:
• to be thoroughly familiar with the colour ranges, the different harmonies, contrasts and interaction between form and colour;
• to perceive and express volume, light and space;
• to give expression to the distinguishing traits of a model, both nude and clothed, by experimenting different techniques of artistic presentation; and
• to acquire the skills of the traditional methods of sculpturing by working with clay.
The practical orientation of these courses is accompanied by a theoretical initiation enhancing sensitivity to the history of Western art, of contemporary art and of designing.
